How do I connect Spote to ChatGPT or Claude?

Spote is available as a plugin/connector for both ChatGPT and Claude. In ChatGPT, add it from the Apps directory under Settings → Connectors. In Claude, add it as a connector via https://spote.cloud/mcp, or install it as a plugin through Claude Code using the public marketplace repo. Where is my data stored?

Your notes are stored securely in Spote’s cloud infrastructure, tied to your account. We don’t share your notes with third parties, and they’re only accessible to AI assistants you’ve explicitly connected to your account. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Can I export my notes?

Yes. Notes in Spote are stored as Markdown, and export functionality is available from your account settings. If you need a bulk export and can’t find the option, email us and we’ll help.

How do I delete a note?

You can ask your connected AI assistant to delete a specific note (for example, “delete my note about X in Spote”), or remove it directly from the Spote web app.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Account Settings → Delete Account, or email support@spote.cloud and we’ll take care of it for you.

I’m having trouble logging in or authorizing Spote in ChatGPT/Claude. What should I do?

Make sure you’re using the correct email and password for your Spote account (not your AI assistant’s own login). If the authorization screen doesn’t load or you see an error, try disconnecting and reconnecting the Spote connector from your assistant’s settings. If the issue persists, email us with a screenshot of the error and we’ll investigate.

Is Spote free to use?

Spote is currently in beta. All subscribers onboards to the free account - without any cost.

Email us at support@spote.cloud with as much detail as possible (what you were trying to do, what happened instead, and any error messages). We read every message.
